Rules and Procedures

Hello and thanks for choosing STCS as your place to race. Our main goal here at STCS is to have FUN. Having fun does not mean that you cannot be competitive, but please remember that this is a game. STCS have put some rules and procedures in place to make your experience a fun one. These are simple and to the point so please read them carefully as there will be a quiz at the end……lol.

The race: Races will be no less then 100 laps with 1x pitting and cautions on. All races will be FIXED setups (unless told otherwise). We will be using the FAST or the EXPERT setup, you'll know at least one week before the date of the race. Driving aids can be used if you so wish. Single file restarts will be on for ALL races.

Driver’s etiquette: It’s the driver’s responsibility to control their car. Please practice on the track before showing up. I cant say this enough. If your car is damaged or you just cant get a grip on the track, move. It's that simple. Don’t overdrive your car, you will most likely end up in the wall. NO BLOCKING (unless we are in the final laps). NO FLAMING OTHER DRIVERS save that crap for the forums. No unnecessary chat while qualifying or under the green flag (under yellow chat is ok to a point). DO NOT AND I MEAN DO NOT retaliate on the track you will be gone PERIOD. Again save that crap for the forums.

Cautions: There will be NO racing back to the yellow flag UNLESS there are under 10 laps to go. If you bring out the caution you need to type in ALL ME and the ones involved need to type in ME. The car that brings out the caution needs to do a drive thru the pits to end up at the end of the line. If there is a question on who brings out the caution and nobody wants to take responsibility then all cars involved will do the drive thru. Please call out the cautions if after viewing replay and there was a caution and you didn’t type in ALL ME or ME you will loose points. If you cause 3 cautions you will be asked to park it for the night.

Black flags: We will not clear black flags. This game has a lot of glitches in it and you must follow the ingame demands. Consider a bunch of black flags as a flat tire.

Lapped cars: All lapped cars will yield to the leaders. If you are getting ready to go a lap down you may race to stay on the lead lap. Just use your head and if you’re way slower please move over and let them by. All lapped cars will do a drive thru the pits to let the lead laps cars go by when less then 10 laps to go. There is no lucky dog rule. Please remember if you’re a lap down please don’t overdrive the car to get your lap back, use your head.

Disconnections: If a driver gets disconnected for any reason, he or she can come back into the race but you will not get any laps back. Consider these as overheating problems.

Warp: You will be asked to park it for excessive warping. If you see a car warping in and out please type example : (#63 warp). This is your responsibility to safely remove yourself from the race.
